Chemical Labelling

All chemicals have special characteristics and present hazards to humans and the environment. Chemicals pose a specific threat to you through inhalation, ingestion or absorption.

On completion of this session you will know how to correctly read chemical labelling, identify the different types of hazards from the pictograms and signal words displayed on labels. You should also be aware of the different types of physical, human health and environmental hazards that are represented by each pictogram.
